Microsoft Dynamics 365
Dynamics 365, implemented to fit how you actually work.
A Dynamics 365 implementation should start with your processes, not the licence sheet. We're a UK Microsoft Solutions Partner that implements, migrates and supports Dynamics 365, and because we also build bespoke software from scratch, we'll tell you plainly when Dynamics is the right fit and when it isn't.
What we do with Dynamics 365
Implementation, migration and long-term support, scoped around the jobs your teams do each day, not the module list.

A case-management system that holds up
Problem
Wandle Housing Association manages more than 7,000 homes across nine south London boroughs. It needed to improve first-contact resolution and customer service quality. Appointment booking, repairs, tenancy and income enquiries, and complaints all had to be in one place.
Build
We implemented Dynamics 365 CRM as the operational core, with SharePoint document management, Power BI analytics, a bespoke .NET resident portal on Azure, and bi-directional integration with Wandle's existing Housing Management System.
Result
A single customer view across anti-social behaviour, complaints, fraud, repairs, estate management and income. Real-time dashboards and case queues for every team. A resident portal lets tenants raise cases and check repairs history without a telephone call.
Why Blacklight, not a pure-play Dynamics partner
Most Dynamics partners only do Dynamics, so every problem looks like a licence. We've been building bespoke software since 2009, and we still do.
That changes the advice you get. When Dynamics fits your process, we configure it and keep customisation to what will survive Microsoft's update cycle. When it doesn't fit, a specialised workflow, an unusual data model, an integration Dynamics can't reach, we build that part properly in .NET and connect it, the way we combined Dynamics 365 with a bespoke resident portal for Wandle. You get one accountable team either way: in-house, onshore UK delivery from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and Liverpool, with support that stays long after go-live.
Working in social housing?
We've packaged our housing-association Dynamics work, case management, repairs visibility, tenant self-service and reporting, into one named offer, proven with Wandle, Stonewater, PA Housing and Black Country Housing Group.
Frequently asked questions
What does a Dynamics 365 migration involve?
Three stages: an audit of your current system and data (whether that's a legacy CRM, spreadsheets, or an older Dynamics version), a mapped migration with the data cleaned on the way across, and a period of parallel running before cutover. The scoping call tells you which stage carries the risk in your case, usually it's the data.
Do you sell the licences too?
We advise on licensing as part of scoping, which apps you actually need, and where a cheaper licence tier covers the requirement. You keep ownership of your own Microsoft agreement.
Can you take over an existing Dynamics implementation?
Yes. We start with a review of what's been built, configuration, customisations, integrations, and give you a written view of what to keep, what to fix and what to retire before we take on support.
How long does an implementation take?
It depends on scope, and we'd rather scope it than guess here. As a shape: a focused single-team rollout is measured in weeks; a multi-department system with portal and integrations, like the housing work above, is measured in months. The 30-minute call gets you a real estimate.
